I’m losing massive chunks of hair
I thought it was stress and as a result I assumed it was
alopecia
. My GP said all my levels are normal My dermatologist diagnosed me with
Alopecia
& gave me shots on my scale as a treatment. The past few days after internet research I am now starting to believe it’s a T3 issue.

Lecithin phospholipids and APS
Hello everyone I hope all are well. I was just wondering if anyone knows about taking lecithin phospholipids and if it’s beneficial with those with APS. I have been diagnosed after 3 miscarriages and starting to take supplements and I usually take this Altrient C, vitamin c high dose gel like sachet

Side effects of spironolactone - for hair loss
Hi everyone, my dermatologistis prescribed 50ml of spironolactone for hair loss after I begged him. Just reading the side effects which states hair loss! My scalp is awful so can't loose more hair. I was wondering if any women have experienced hair loss with this drug and is it any good for female

Anyone tried red light therapy for Hashi's?
I've been hearing some chatter in the US functional health world about using red light therapy to improve Hashi symptoms and potentially increase T4 to T3 conversion. Apparently there is some credible research supporting this. Has anyone tried this? https://www.thepaleomom.com/joovv-red-light-therapy-for-autoimmune-disease

Itchy Scalp for months - slightly hair thinning but no visible scalp issues.
However, Telogen Effluvium, Psoriasis, Ring Worm,
Alopecia
Areata and Iron deficiency were all ruled out, however, nobody seems to have an answer for it actually is.

For 10 years I've been on 150mg and now I'm taking 125mg I still get very cold and tired but I don't get a swollen face anymore or
alopecia
which is great. does anyone know if taking these tablets thin your blood because I'm hoping to get a big rib cage tattoo later in the year and I don't want to bleed

Hi, Apologise for the long post but wanted to include everything so as not to drip feed! Basically I’ve been losing hair for 2.5 years now following the birth and death of my second son. Initially I put it down to stress but then thyroid levels were slightly high (4.2). Have had all manner of tests and

Please any thoughts on T4 just above range when it was usually 15/16 for the last several tests. NO change in dose ?No thyroid , no biotin . Test was done for other reasons and just happened to be called for. The change happened in about 5 weeks ! I’m at a loss and scared of reduction as I think

Shedding many small hairs
Hi I´m a 21-year-old male and I shed many small hairs. I have hypothyroidism and currently take 75 ug levothyroxine. I only shed these tiny hairs and my hairline or density hasn't changed much or at all in the last years. Can someone tell me maybe what they think the cause is? I`ve taken levothyroxine

Does topical retinoic acid effect the thyroid??
I believe that 25 years of daily topical Retin a has had an effect on my ability to convert t4 to active t3 based on my blood work. I do not have an autoimmune disorder. Wondering if it has something to do with retinol binding receptors and thyroid receptors?? Any ideas!????

Hair Loss if hypothyroid?
There have been a number of posts of members complaining of thinning hair or hair loss altogether. I came across this link which is informative and could be helpful. I think I'd get a blood test first to see if we have a zinc deficiency because we may not, so no point in supplementing. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
