Next step in solving the mystery of my burning feet, but need a little bit of advice
Hi all I’m in need of some more advice. As suggested, I’ve tried raising my vitamin levels since Nov 2023 and although not perfect, they’ve gone up. I’m still having burning in my feet so decided to go to a consultant. Below are my most recent bloods. 7th Feb 2024 Medichecks Blood tests

taking thyroxin
hi jack I used to take mine in the morning. But have changed it to just before bedtime No coffee or tea for an hour before you take them Caffeine stops the thyroxin working fully So I’m told I also don’t eat anything after 9 and take the tablets around 12 midnight I have found it works

Found some old results
From all my test results in my bio, it is known I am a poor convertor. From recommendations within the Group back in 2016 it was felt I needed to add some T3, which my Endo at the time wouldn't do because of my severe anxiety levels and he said it would have to be dosed very carefully. I’m only on second round of six total. So far, labs are looking good except LDH is slightly higher than normal. I, like you, ask my oncologist for info. Mostly, I focus on how am I doing today…. What’s my energy level, status of my hands and feet (hand and foot syndrome for which I use Voltaren

bit disappointing it didn’t come back positive., but I know they don’t always accurately reflect the underlying condition. It also means my pernicious anaemia could be due to long term use of PPIs rather than autoimmune gastritis. (By the way stopped PPIs in December last year) .

I had my thyroid function and vitamins result back from Medichecks and the doctors comments are overall very reassuring (great service btw). A couple I need help understanding.: My CRP HS Was high at 4.210 - I was/am at the very end of a cough/cold so assuming this could be the cause? My thyroid

Liothyronin T3 and insulin resistance
I’ve been doing some research as my blood sugar levels (measured by HbA1C) have been persistently high despite exercise, low carb diet, weight loss and muscle gain. Prompted by the very wise SlowDragon that T3 can cause high sugars, I decided to delve deeper. I came across a lot of articles online

Weird feelings following reduced dose of thyroxine
A few weeks ago my thyroxine dose was reduced from 100 to 75mg. I had no warning, just a decision my GP made. I've been on various doses over the years, but 100 was felt to be the correct one for me. The past few days, I've been feeling like I'm shaky and unsteady. I've been giddy when bending over

Prednisone and fatigue
I realize this is just my experience and I don't know if there's any scientific data behind it but in case this might help someone I wanted to post it. I apparently have become castrate resistant and have restarted Abiraterone about 4 months ago. This is my second time I've been on Abi and this time

Hi all.Hope your all doing really well this Tuesday. Yesterday I went to my Dentist for my routine check up and Polish and had the polish and clean first then during my check up the Dentist said you have a small pale (not white) on the inside of my cheek. She said it didn’t look sinister but said it

Adrenal tumour - anyone here with experience with it?
Hey everyone, My aldosterone levels are very elevated at 409 (range up to 190). I'm waiting for the adrenal MRI. My endo said he's suspecting adrenal adenoma since my ACTH was low, blood cortisol high, unable to raise thyroid meds or raising and having symptoms. Anyone here diagnosed with it or know

Wits end
I need some advice please. I am currently on 300mg of pregabalin and one codeine tablet a day but this has stopped working. I struggle to get to sleep and when I do I am woken after 1 - 2 hours with restless legs and sometimes arms. I am at my wits end with exhaustion. I had a full blood count recently
