Exercise induced asthma now getting worse
I have had excercise induced asthma for the last 20 years which has always been under control using a blue inhaler (salbutomal) immediatel prior to exercise. In the last 3-4 months the blue inhaler has stopped working and in addition I now have breathing issues when not exercising. I have been to see

ALLERGY TESTS
Hi I hope everyone has had a good Christmas. I am currently waiting for the results of an Allergy Blood Test. The GP said the overall Allergy Test came back negative but he is waiting for the results of the House Dust Mite Test. Does anyone know how accurate these tests are? and if negative does

Travel Insurance and Asthma medications...
I am just in process of renewing travel insurance but have met a brick wall - due to the number of asthma meds I take - they use a crude judgement related to how many you take to create the policy amounts and extras etc - unless I choose not to be covered for asthma - which is fine until I leave Europe

Horse Manure allergy ???
Hello! I am allergic to horses, makes me really wheezy etc. I have just shoved some Prepared Horse Manure (smell free stuff! I wouldn't inflict fresh stuff on the neighbours) onto my spuds ( Bloomin' things had better apreciate it!), however, although I wore gloves, I now have an itchy rash on my arms

Allergy Tests
Hoping someone could shed some light on how allergy results are presented. I have just had some allergy tests repeated and one of these was for the mould panel (with 4 different types of moulds) which was positive and just one grade given. Is this result positive for all four moulds???? I know on previous

red wine allergy
Hi guys, a bit of advice if you please! I'm allergic to red wine and I was wondering, does that mean I'd be allergic to rose wine too? Everyone seems to be going mad for it at the moment, but I'm currently too scared to try it just in case. I think it's made with red grapes, but white wine making

Magnesium
Sorry folks - Emily H especially but I don't know how magnesium helps in asthma. On one of my jaunts this morning I did look it up in a book in a charity shop(!) - exciting jaunts I have I know. The information was scattered through the book which was actually aimed at taking supplements. If I think
