My 46 year gold husband suddenly started to get daily migraines with auras two weeks ago and we are really seeking advice on what to do.
He takes Fiorcet and Liquid
Advil
when he starts to get symptoms and it seems the only thing that gives him pain relief is a Vicotin (which we naturally don't like because it is addictive). He has been prescribed Topomax and has been on that for 3 days.

Symptoms almost exactly as Restless leg syndrome
I am a fellow Parkie that is suffering from symptoms almost exactly as Restless Leg Syndrome and besides the hot showers, rubdowns,
advil
, tylenols, there anything else that works?? I haven't slept in a few days because of the discomfort.

Extreme Pelvic Pain - no diagnosis can be found. Ideas?
At this point the cramps were so bad that there was at least three days a month that I was missing my university classes and my doctor was now proscribing me oxycodone for the pain (where usually I don't even bother taking
advil
, preferring to tough it out), on top of which my sex life with my boyfriend

Menstrual issues?
I took 800mg of
advil
and then within half an hour my cycle completely stopped and hasn't started back up yet. Very strange!! (and yesterday was day 3 of my cycle) Also became a bit dizzy. Trying to figure out what I can stand to eat today with my nausea that has a lot of iron in it.

My 12 week results......
Sometimes the pain is pretty bad and I need to take an
Advil
and put some cream or a patch on the joint. Other times it is tolerable and I don't have to do anything. I have not had any of the "Riba Rage" that I hear about.

My 8 Week Check-Up
Anyway, the
Advil
that I take helps with the sfx of the Interferon and I will continue to suffer somewhat with that. I have also been told that it takes about 8 to 10 weeks for the drugs to load up in your body and you should start to level out after that with sfx.

My 4 week checkup
I do understand that it is the Interferon doing this and it is manageable with
Advil
and hot water bottle. My rash is all gone and the only other thing I have is the flu like feeling. I have this pretty much every day....usually late afternoon to mid evening.

Follow-up after seeing doctor
She said that I would be fine to continue with the
Advil
and the patches. As long as they work for me and I don't take too much
Advil
, just the minimum, I should be fine. She wants me to go along with that and as long as it helps me, that is all I will do.

Having more sides....
He told me that if I didn't take something,
Advil
or Tylenol, he was taking me to the emergency. Well, I did take an
Advil
and I put on one of those Icy / Hot Patches. It did the trick....not sure what helped the most but both of them took the pain away.

Sunday Morning.....Feeling Good!
My back has not been bothering me, don't have to take any
Advil
or put on any patches. I have been feeling so great. I really don't know why this is happening for me. I suppose that I should realize I have only been treating for 4 weeks now and things could change.

Almost a year!
(I am not the type to even take
Advil
) I gave in and started Methylpred Jan 20th 2012. I am down to one 4 mg methylpred per day, PT did help, but I am still really stiff after sitting. I am losing my hair also! So I decided to take Biotin, Glucosamine and MSM, and Omega 3.
