Sharing my good news
Today it is exactly 18 months to the day since my initial diagnosis (stage 3
adenocarcinoma
of the GEJ), so it is perhaps a fitting occasion to share my good news, as well as express my gratitude for the good health that I will never again take for granted.

Cramps! :(
To be fair, I had cancer treatment Winter 2008-09 for a rare endo-cervical
adenocarcinoma
, and the PRD only kicked off in September of 2018, so it's not been that long. I'm trying to control the diarrhoea with charcoal tablets, Enterosgel (a natural 'binder'), and Loperamide.

Development of the world's first digital model of a cancer cell
The computer model, developed under the lead management of researchers at TU Graz, simulates the cyclical changes in the membrane potential of a cancer cell using the example of human lung
adenocarcinoma
and opens up completely new avenues in cancer research.

PSA production
I am on Active Surveillance for Gleason 6, two cores with 80%
adenocarcinoma
, PIRADS 4. Last PSA 6. If I take a supplement such as curcumin for example and it lowers my PSA, is it perhaps masking the changes that could occur regarding the cancer cells? Thanks Ian

Changing horses, Enzalutamide to Abiraterone(Zytiga)
New activity is likely the old
adenocarcinoma
which has found a "work around" after 10 plus years of ADT and Enzalutamide not working to block AR receptors. So we made a decision to start on Abiraterone/prednisone now while continuing on Lupron. So far tolerating the new drugs and labs are okay.
