no hope for joy again
i’m struggling with lack of motivation and no enjoyment of anything in my life. i’m not sure why i’m so low right now but my adhd meds dyanaval and
adderall
aren’t even helping. i’m afraid i’ll never feel joy again. life seems dull and i’m finding it hard to find any motivation to take care of myself

Vyvanse titration and career thoughts/tangent
- For those that are adding short acting stimulants to the Vyvanse, Ritalin or
Adderall
, did you find these made the Vyvanse less effective? and do you now take them every day or just when you need them? Appreciate your thoughts!

Adderall XR 20mg
So he recommended
Adderall
XR 20mg. Today was my first day. I woke up, had some coffee and took my pill with a smoothie. Within an hour I could feel the effects and a bit nauseous. About an hour later I was starving.

my 16 year old son who has been taking
Adderall
since he was 7, wants to stop taking it. He has ADHD (inattentive ). He feels it makes him too subdued at school and is affecting him socially. He has never had any issues with hyperactivity or discipline.

Jaw and Shoulder Pain
I take
Adderall
to keep me going so that I can continue to work. I am on a CPAP and have met with a slept tech 3 times and nothing really stands out there, but I am going to try a different mask to see if I rest better. My GP, who is working with me, wonders if something else is going on.

National Shortage
I first heard that it was
adderall
and my son wasn't being affected because he takes Focalin xr. Last time refill they could only give me 20 instead of 30. I called right now to possibly up my sons dose and the ped said now all adhd meds are having shortage issues.

My doctor suggested I try a low-dose of a stimulant, wrote me a prescription for 5 mg
Adderall
immediate release. I tend to be sensitive to medication, so I was wondering if anyone had cut a 5 mg tablet in half? healthline.com says that it's safe to split or crush the
Adderall
tablets.

Adderall Shortage
For months now I have been having problems getting my prescription filled and am now using some Extended Release that I had discontinued taking to instead take the regular dose hoping to get sleep (with no luck) because that's all I have on hand. At this point I am thinking about quitting. I wonder,

Finally getting my med!
Because of the shortage, I wasnt able to get Ritalin so my doctor prescribed generic
adderall
until I was able to get it. My question is: does anyone know how many hours after taking my last dose of
Adderall
can I start on Ritalin again?

Anyone experience muscle/tendon pain on Extended release Adderall or Vyvanse?
Vyvanse but wasn't feeling it so then changed extend release
Adderall
. First 25mg but that was too intense so backed down to 20 which seems to help overall but not a magic bullet for focus sadly.

Done is a waste of time and money
Then I signed up and had a Zoom session with a clinician who prescribed
Adderall
. I told him what my preferred pharmacy is and I asked what the process is if they don't have it due to the shortage.

Adderall and sleepless nights
It seems related to
Adderall
being counteracted by acidification. This morning I found an FDA 'drug interactions' sheet that mentions this. https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/drugsatfda_docs/label/2005/011522s032,033lbl.pdf Would appreciate your thoughts! -Josh

PBC/ADD/Adderall/Fatigue
Does anyone take
Adderall
? I have ADD and in the past have taken 5mg
adderall
when I needed to focus. Now in addition to that, I use it when fatigue gets in the way of living. I am over 70 with coronary heart disease. My current PCP doesn't want me to take it any more because of my age and CAD.

I have ADHD but I'm afraid to make it official
I know there are some medications that are not addictive but never understand why those aren't the first line of defense instead of something like
Adderall
? Do the others not work as well or is it the cost?

The Frustration Never Ends with Doctors!
I asked her, "So in your professional opinion, it is better for me to be on
Adderall
so I can somewhat function than to get my thryoid at a level that helps me to feel better? That me being higher in the range in more dangerous than to take something not natural to the body?"
