Done is a waste of time and money

I didn't see anything posted on this forum about Done and I just want to share my brief, unpleasant experience.

If you aren't familiar with them, Done is a telehealth company for people with ADHD. Prior to signing up with them I asked a few questions which were always very promptly answered. I thought this was a very good sign. Then I signed up and had a Zoom session with a clinician who prescribed Adderall. I told him what my preferred pharmacy is and I asked what the process is if they don't have it due to the shortage. The clinician told me that I could request a pharmacy change and that they have a pharmacy team that will help me find it.

Well, as feared my pharmacy didn't have it and they have no ETA. Since then I have contacted them through every available avenue and they have completely ignored me. What's just as frustrating is that the links to contact them, from their emails, are all broken.

They claim "24/7 Care Team Access - Get your questions answered by your clinician and care team any time." but this is a lie.

Anyway, I am very new to this forum and kind of surprised I couldn't find anything about Done so I wanted to share my experience. If I don't hear from them by tomorrow I am going to deactivate my account and ask for a refund. This is an awful company.

Report them to the Better Business Bureau. Find the city and state they are in. You can call the BBB there or file online

Have you found this to be an effective way to get resolution to a problem? BBB has no ability to do anything to companies, and as a result I find that most companies don't really care about a negative BBB rating. And I can't say I've even used them myself. I rely much more on the experiences people have which they share online. So I feel like my time is better spent sharing my experience on websites like this where people might actually see them.

I forgot to mention the barrage of emails I have received since joining. Including, if you can believe this, an email with a referral bonus to me if I refer new customers (I can't call them patients because no medical care is offered). Have you ever heard of a mental health provider offering referral bonuses? My goodness. Shady companies like this are why there is an Adderall shortage. They don't give a F about patients, they just want the monthly fees.

I have had found that filing a complaint with the BBB gets a businesses attention. Grant you, I have never dealt with a complaint against a telemed company. But I have threatened to file a complaint against a online only company with the BBB and that got me a phone call returned and a refund. BBB website lists customers complaints and resolutions, if any. I always check the BBB website before I deal with any company for the first time.

Is Done on social media ? If they are, posting about your negative experiences on their pages will hopefully get the results you want. What does the Done website say about what to do when situations like yours happen ? How many days ago did this happen?

hey laca,

did Done actually send the pharmacy a script? or did you just do the zoom appt with a therapist only?

in response to a later thread- its very common in the mental health field to not regard clients as “patients” UNLESS the same agency that provides therapy also has ability to prescribe medication.

but if Done claims they treat ADHD with medication n therapy, then Done would have to have a MD, PA, NP, etc actually prescribe the med. a therapist, psychologist, social worker, etc are not able to prescribe any type of medication. i think your post said that you zoomed with a licensed therapist only.

thanks for sharing this info! i agree, word of mouth is far more effective than the bureaucracy of BBB. BBB is outdated n irrelevant to most folks under 45yrs , lol
