What are some Helpful Unique Study Habits/Techniques
I do take
Adderall
XR
and it helped a lot in the beginning of the semester. Basically, I am looking for some creative suggestions to help me focus and/or get me excited to study thus making me more awake and less sleepy.

Adult with ADD and high blood pressure with stimulants.
So I went on Adderall this summer and while I really thought it was going well for my ADHD I found my blood pressure went through the roof. Anybody else have this and what did you do?

Extended Release Medication Problems
I find I crash hard from
Adderall
XR
but not the IR. Anyone else have those issues? I've heard some people have problems with extended release medications but can't find any research on it to present to my doctor.

Tapered off Mirapex about 8 weeks ago, new meds causing morning sedation and anxiety. Do I just have to cope with that?
Hi all- my first real post here, thought I should introduce myself! I have a lot of questions... I've had RLS since I was 12. Have been taking Mirapex for 30 years maybe? Up to about 1mg/day, was augmenting. Was tapered off, last dose in late Sep 2021. I see an RLS doctor at Yale, he seems pretty

Struggling with coming to terms
I was diagnosed a little after covid shut everything down. I was having an intake appointment with a new psychiatrist. I had been in therapy for a few years at that point and was on medicine for around four years for other mental health issues. Initially we were only going to him for depression, anxiety

Adderall XR experience.
We are on day 3 of 10mg
adderall
XR
with my 6 year old son. It’s been heartbreaking so far. He’s so irritable and emotional. The sitter says he hasn’t even laughed or smiled today. We are trying to give it a good week, but gosh… it’s hard to know what to do!

Please help - at wits end with ADHD partner and relationship problems
I am writing for support and illumination as I am at my wit’s end and feel near breaking up with my ADHD girlfriend though I love her very much. I know we cannot change others and I really want her to change. I am 48 and she is 37 and I have two kids. I do not know what to attribute to ADHD or what

Decreased appetite & picky eater
Hi - So my 6 year old son has been on
Adderall
XR
and as his dose has increased we are now seeing a large decrease in his appetite. He is a thin kiddo as it is, so losing weight isn't something he has much leeway on. He's just over 4ft tall and 46 lbs.

Supplements for ADHD
Hello friends! I was wondering if anyone has had good luck with taking supplements along with their medications for ADHD. If so, would you mind sharing what they are? I am currently on Vyvanse 70mg and somedays I feel as though it works very well and other days I feel a crash around about noon time.

Adderall used to work GREAT, now it makes me worse?
I am wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing I have with
adderall
. I was taking it daily February-end of June, (15mg
XR
) but have been more on and off with it during summer. It used to bring out my best qualities/allow me to focus/helped me with overstimulation issues etc.

Did Adderall break my brain?
In my late 30s I wanted an Adderall prescription as a way to lose weight, but then it turned out I really had pretty severe ADHD. After 18 months I was up to 30mg of Adderall per day, then my blood pressure spiked and my doctor took me off Adderall cold turkey. I fell into the deepest depression of my

Frustrations with my psychiatrist/am I overreacting?
I've had adhd practically my entire life. It got to a debilitating point by the time I was 15 where I had to put my entire life on hold. Long story but I'm 22 now and just getting diagnosed and treated for it, and I don't have a driver's license, never had a job, and had to stop my GED because of it.

no one size fits all
I'm sure that I'm not on my own when I say that the land of ADHD is full of interesting mazes with no exits signs. I was diagnosed as an older adult and consequently medicated with Adderall. The effects of the drug are largely positive, though I think my body has built up a tolerance to it over time

ADHD medication makes me sick when it wears off.
I need someones advice on my ADHD. When I take my medication (I think I've tried all of them) they work really well. My life gets lots easier and better. However when the medication wears off I get really sick. So sick that i'm not even able to watch my kids. Everything I google about ADHD medication
