Lung transplant second opinion update.
Saw the very nice team at the Royal Papworth following the Harefields decision to delist me. Where do i begin? First of all what a place, futuristic, buzzing with energy and you just knew you were in a different league. They haven’t said yes but more importantly not a no either. Bottom line is they

Raised lump on CABG scar
I have a scar on my left forearm where the radial artery was harvested 17 months ago. Every now and then a “ sort of hive” appears in the exact same spot. It can be itchy but not sore in any way. It will go in a few hours. Has anyone else experienced this ?

I had osteoarthritis of the right hip in 2014 and had a full hip replacement with great success. some time after that i began to get back and groin pain and was referred for an MRI. The result was herniated discs and sciatica. I have just recently had another MRI and the result is mild wear and tear,

Advice. Morphine sulphate (MST) 5mg prolonged release. Or stay on tramadol.
Hi all. Haven't posted for a while. I’ll update you on my RLS journey and ask for advice on the above. Last time I posted I was going through a rough patch with my long standing insomnia where getting 4-5 hours nightly for years was ok, then went to having 0-1 hours and maybe 6hours after being awake

Gums and bleeding
Hi. I had a heart attack 5 weeks ago. All fixed now, stent fitted and drugs given. However, my mouth suddenly fills with blood at least 4 times a day? My gums are as white as a sheet. Has anyone else had this experience or know why? I have a dental appointment in a few weeks so I'm hoping for some answers

succinyl choline not acetyl choline
I posted earlier about using acetyl choline to euthanize dogs in my vet clinic. I was wrong. We used succinyl choline 30 years ago. It's still used as an anesthesia adjunct.

100% blocked artery
Hi My husband had a heart attack 2 weeks ago and was unable to have a stent put in the artery that was blocked. He is having an MRI scan next week and the cardiologist will see him the week after. He mentioned, in a review letter, that they may perform a staged PCI but that this procedure would be of

Waiting Times
I have been told today that I need a stent fitted and I wondered usually how long it will be approx until it is done. My cardiology department are playing catch up at present so I suspect it could be a while!

poisoned by statins
I have now come to the conclusion that instead of getting the correct treatment for my heart problem I have been given a higher dosage of statins that is causing me more harm. I believe that my diagnosis should be treated with a stent or a bypass. I have three siblings , two have had heart attacks and

Good afternoon, I had my tests carried out in Feb and despite being told I would receive the results in 2 weeks I have only just been sent them. The consultant has not written to me with his conclusions yet and I am not being seen until July. My GP is happy to have a look at it but my appointment is

This time last year i was not a well pup. Stemi in the lad and rushed to hospital with the lights flashing. Didnt know what was happening until they had inserted a stent and cleared the 100%blockage. Are there any Life and Health Insurance providers for people with heart conditions?
Hi everyone 🙏🏽 So I had a heart attack when a little over 10 years ago now. It was not a big one and thankfully the great people at St George's Hospital picked this up and saved me by inserting 1 stent. The question I have is regarding life and health insurance. Can anyone recommend any Insurers
