Severe Proximal RCA Disease and Moderate LAD Disease - Updated
Good morning, I had a follow-up appointment this morning with the cardiologist, I'll need to wait for the consultation letter for the details, this is what I know. I have coronary heart disease, and it's worse in my right than the left, apparently that's good. They don't know what to do with me as I

Has this happened to anyone else?
Good Morning, Yesterday I got up from the chair and took a few steps and suddenly I started to shake but it was more like I was being rattled or severe shivering without being cold It only lasted a few seconds but it did quite scare me. I had a HA in April last year and had a stent then another episode

I make trying to suppress EBV a leg of my supplement strategy.
I replied to a comment with this comment, then decided to share it as a post also:
As somebody who has been exposed to EBV (mono), I make trying to suppress EBV a leg of my supplement strategy. I need to write up everything I think helps with EBV, but here is a short list: -
Lactobacillus

Alternating cannabis and pramipexole
I've been prescribed pramipexole by sleep specialist and my doctor. They're following the Mayo algorithm so I have to do this before they'll consider opioids. I've tried pregabalin, etc without success. Starting pramipexole on .125mg, up to max .75mg. I'm too scared to take them due to potential augmentation

clopidril
I have been on Clopidril since having 4 stents in 2015 then a by pass in my leg. I then had another stent fitted in 2022. Further investigations found narrowing of the arteries in my other leg. I believe the clopidril is causing the hot sweats I have been having for years. I am wondering whether I have

still getting angina
in Sept, 2023 I had a pacemaker fitted. Angiogram showed I had the start of plaque in 2 arteries, but not enough for a stent. cardiologist said that I am fine, but I am still struggling with my breathing, especially uphill. Last week I walked for an hour up a downhill and it took me 24 hours to recover

Drug Holidays
I’m among the relatively fortunately RLS sufferers that along with gabapentin can get decent relief from a 5mg dose of oxycodone immediate release. However, I am very concerned about limiting my dependence to this drug due to its power and am determined to avoid having this dosage increased. I believe

looking for advice for RLS
Hi everyone, I am new here. Hoping to find relief for my RLS. I am located in the US. A bit of history, I’ve had RLS since about 2017. Started off moderate and was using cannabis for relief. Over time, symptoms got worse and smoking cannabis wasn’t working well. I then tried Kratom and got good relief

Suboxone and Colonoscopy
Hi, I have been taking Suboxone (Buprenorphine and Naloxone) for almost 5 weeks now, but I am going to have colonoscopy on 14 of December. Does Suboxone interfere with anesthetics and narcotic given during the procedure? Do I need to stop taking it and how many days do I stop taking before the procedure

Long term Effects of radiation
I had salvage radiation in 2014 after failed RP surgery in 2013 at age 69 for Gleason 9 PCa. I’ve also had radiation of pelvic lymph nodes in 2015 , right femur in 2017, and a rib and clavicle in 2018. A few years ago incontinence developed. I tried clamp, sling and AUS. The latter caused sepsis

Is this a long wait to see a cardiologist, or is it normal?
I had an MI while abroad in December, I had to have CPR, I had a stent put in and spent 4 days in a foreign hospital ( it was very nice and my treatment was excellent) and I am now on what appears from this forum to be a pretty standard cocktail of thinners, statins, beta blockers, etc . I’ve seen

Emotional setback
Hi All,Had HA back in September & had a stent fitted. After struggling with side effects of meds for many months, it seems to have sorted itself out & for the last month, I seem to feel like my old self again. Over the months I've had one or two little niggles/ feelings around my chest. Never lasted
