COETZEE REPLY SERTRALINE
Lustral is a near generic of Sertraline, which is a near generic of Prozac, which I consider avoidable. Check the French names too - Surelife. The latter two - not disimilar from Prozac - are less worrisome.

Just started on Lustral (sertraline) yesterday - feeling scared.
I have been trying to deal with anxiety issues and panic attacks which have gradually got worse over the past couple of years. At the moment the main anxiety is health anxiety but this is coupled with not being able cope with a loss of control so that, for example, I become terrified if my child is

Advice needed on taking Tramadol with Sertraline
Hi everyone, I have just discovered this forum - it's a godsend. I have had RLS for about ten years now but recently discovered after a serious ankle fracture that Tramadol completely eases my restless legs. Last week I went to the doctors for an unrelated issue, and have been prescribed the anti-depressant

Anyone take Lustral (sertraline)
I've been taking Lustral (sertraline) for about 5 months, i had a major fibro flare, yhe worst I have ever had in 18 years, but after I read it can cause joint or muscle pain I started to take every other day, pain decreased. Anyone else taking this & getting same symptoms?

future uncertain
first depression and anxiety building over the last 24 months or so, finally had it diagnosed about Oct 2012, my work noticed my decline in productivity and shoved me on a disciplinary "improvement or else" plan threatening my job, I've been perscribed Lustral but having read up on all sorts of sites

Mirtazapine... Lack of energy and weight gain.
Hello, I'm new to this website. I suffer from social anxiety, GAD and agoraphobia. I've had anxiety issues since April 2011. I was on Lustral 50mg during last year, but I came off August. This is when everything took a turn for the worse, and I'm now on Mirtazapine 30mg. I have been on this since October

I've been diagnosed with "depression and anxiety" - but which sub-category on Anxiety.
I was prescribed 50mg Lustral (sertraline) anti-depressants about 3-4 weeks ago was and still am too scared to take any. Told my GP this. We have now applied for CBT for me instead, but the assessment isnt until mid April, and presumably even if the assessment puts me forward for CBT, it wont start immediately

Just come back from uni for christmas, been having lots of panic attacks, fear of death etc?
I am in my third year at university and have had a lot of time off throughout because of my anxiety. I have been trying to get better for a long time, but when I end up feeling like I can attend uni It never stays for longer than a couple of weeks. I then get really bad again and can't attend for ages

HAS ANYONE ON THE PAGE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH ANTI DEPRESSANTS?
Due to additional stress (hubby having to have treatment for prostate cancer) plus a bad time while I was on trial with new drug during 2012, spending so much time in hospital has left me with clinical depression/anxiety which my Dr thinks should be treated with AD's I have already tried two Lustral,

New Here.
Hey. I'm new to this website so I just wanted to post a blog so anyone reading my questions, answers or blogs knows a bit of background about me. I'm 16, bisexual, I live in Essex and have been attending Sixth Form for a few weeks. I've suffered from depression for pretty much all of my secondary school
