CHANGING Room CHAT... DECEMBER. WEEK 3 Time to Take Care of Your 'ELF ....

I've got some tweaks and twinges

and my body's feeling rough

I'm feeling a tad ancient.

Though I'm doing all my stuff !

My body is not too relaxed

My mind? Well that's the same.

So what is there that I can do

To lift me up again?

WELL!

I looked around and this is what I found... a festive workout that is surely guaranteed to lift body and soul!

PLUS. It is FUN !

Welcome to the Changing Room for a chat before Winterval celebrations begins! Slip off your shoes and rest !

Okay here goes...

Just some fun exercises, to get us in the mood for what is to come., and hopefully, cheer us in the process !

These are some I found on my search for fun-ness!

Okay... You can do all... or some... or just watch the rest of us doing these.. !

Just embrace your Inner Elf....!

WARM UP:

Jingle Bell Shake

Stand, feet slightly ( or sit, if you need to. ), and shake it all out , fingers, hands, arms, ,roll those shoulders too. Arms, legs, feet and toes! Just loosen every thing up.

Decoration stretch.

Trim the tree by ! Come up onto your toes, ( if you are seating just reach up), and stretch and reach as high and as far as you are able.

Digging it out.

Santa Claus is going to be so busy, but he needs his sleigh!

So, grab that imaginary shovel and dig out at least 10 shovel's full, of snow to clear the way for take of!

Pressie Time

Pick up those BIG parcels and load them on to the sleigh!

Dropped a few

Pop in a few squats, in between that lifting and loading!

Mistletoe Kisses

No chance... we are too busy... ! Running on the spot, or round the house, for a few minutes, in order to escape that amorous elf!

Seasonal snack time

This is hard work for small elves... time to creep into the kitchen and find some tasty treats.. usually on the top shelf... stretch and reach as many as you fancy!

We made it !

Mrs. Claus has come to see that all the preparation is completed and is going to pop on some calming winter tunes... we are sitting in a comfy position, on our cushions breathing gently and steadily,,, relaxing every single bit of our body and mind,

S-elf h-elf or what !

I am here, looking forward to see if anyone has the time top join me :)

If you have not got the time... then just do, please remember, in this really busy time, to take care of Your S'elf!

Yes... I felt we all needed a bit of a lift! I know I do ! Phew!!!!

I really hoped you would pop in and thought you could do a few chair based bits of this... and you are an expert at the chair based exercises anyway!

I think I shall be an elf parcel mover today,, there are a fair few in my front porch to be sorted!!! xxx

I actually bought this top and hat for UTS this year; I just borrowed them for a challenge run.

Hi Floss,

Popping in to mention I am adding squats, clams, bridges and lunges in after my yoga, on different days. After reading Teresa1632 post the other day, I realise how important strength work is. Better to just do some now, than wait to pick up an injury and be given them by a physio.
