I can’t believe it’s the last few days already! It’s been all good.
WELL DONE, EVERYONE!!!!
I do think her 30 yoga journeys have gotten better from year to year, and they were excellent to start with! It makes for an immensely satisfying January daily practice. Of course, the downside is that I’m not sure I will want to go back to any from the previous years, always knowing that only the last one will stay my favourite?
But selfishly I’m hoping that there are many years of the 30-year journeys still to come.
I’ve managed well, but perfectly, missing maybe 3 - 4 days, whenever work got do intensive with late evenings , and leaving me so tired that I couldn’t even imagine doing any yoga, but just wanted to crawl into bed.
But that’s not bad. I did better when I had a yoga morning practice, like in 2021 and 2022. But in the last couple of years, yoga has taken a bit of a backseat, and with it it has become a lunch-time break, early or late evening practice. And with that, especially the evening practice, there is a limited time to catch up on a day’s practice.
So how have you fared? How did you like some of the new (at least to me) poses and movements, like happy baby but with shaking hands and feet in the air? Or boat pose but on the edge of your back?
I found these to be interesting nuances of slight changes in her practice that brings me new insights to different parts of my physical self.
So upwards and inwards, jumping off from this 30-year journey into the next months of physical S&F practice.
Woo! I have kept up with this (so far). I haven't posted much as it tends to be the last thing I do and I don't want to go on my phone afterwards. I have enjoyed it a lot. Its been nice that they've been a length that is achievable as well.
I almost missed yesterday. I didn't manage to get up early enough to do it in the morning, and was travelling and having a celebration day out with some friends. The afternoon involved a lot of food and some alcohol, though I stopped drinking at about 7pm. I crawled into my hotel at 11:30 and nearly skipped it, but then I thought that I've been doing so well and it would probably help calm me before bed, which it did.
I'm.not sure yoga after drinking alcohol is the most responsible thing I've ever done. But it went pretty well and I enjoyed it. I'm glad it wasn't too strenuous. And I love humble warrior so much!

Especially well done for getting to the mat after that social night out! 🙌🙌🙌🙌
I haven't done this year's yet - first time I've missed it - but I was poorly for first 2 weeks and so am going to do it throughout Feb. Looking forward to it and will try to forget you said the dreaded words (for me), boat pose. 😵😵💫😳 It's such a great way to start the yoga year. Gotta love Adriene and Benji. Enjoy the last few days 😊🙏
Really enjoyed this years as you say it has got much better and I’ve enjoyed that it’s usually about 20 mins so is doable.
Hubby is still doing it with me not sure if he will continue after but I never thought he would stick this far, we are a couple behind just because we have been busy but will definitely catch up and complete.
I’ve really enjoyed FLOW I have to say. I’ve already confessed on here that a fell off my long term yoga wagon last summer for no real reason, but I vowed I’d get back on the mat for this. It shows just how much I’ve missed it, and I’m going to continue into February too.
I’ll do Adriene’s February calendar. The only thing with her monthly calendars is some of the practices are quite long so I tend to pick and choose to suit the amount of time I have. I also used to pick random practices, but found myself defaulting to my favourites!
Hmm. I was thinking of redoing Move. But I've never done one of the monthly calendars. Maybe I'll do the February calendar but swap to a different practice if time doesn't allow.
Did Day 29 earlier - can't believe its nearly over!
I think last week there was some discussion about tree pose. As soon as that came up today I took my trousers off as I can't keep my foot up at all except on bare skin!

I completed my 2nd January Yoga with Adrienne and it was freestyle throughout today and somehow went so fast....luckily I have the calendar on my phone so i will go in and out of that and enjoy doing yoga with her in February some days and yoga on my own in others...I can see why it is so good for your body and mental health.
I've just done my last practice with Adriene by my side I do love the January ritual it's such a great way to begin a year. This year I particularly appreciated that she'd kept all the sessions to around 20 minutes.
I'll try to keep the habit of post afternoon dog walk yoga 🤞
