This morning after a quick workout based on Stage 5 of the JD 30 Day Challenge, I was looking at Strava and received a notification that a new app has been added to my Strava subscription called "Recover", which links to my Garmin account and offers personalised recommendations to avoid injury - which Recover call "prehab".
This is a very nice addition, though I suspect it requires a paid Strava subscription?
I asked it to give me recommendations for knee strengthening, and it recommended a 21 minute workout with 6 exercises. 5 of those exercises I would describe as being similar to exercises familiar to me from the 30 Day Challenge, which I think is a good recommendation, esp as the JD challenge is free!
Knee pain after running has been an issue for me though I am now noticing it has more or less disappeared, after completing the JD challenge. 🤞
