Yoga Buddy 🐾 🥰

Adriene has talked this week about our furry yoga buddies spending time with us on our mats, so I thought I would share mine ❤️. Isla often snuggles in during my yoga sessions, sometimes taking over the mat, but this is the first time we have managed to catch her on camera. She joined me for the alternate nostril breathing (she likes the breathing exercises) and my daughter took the photo just before she moved away. Isla also does THE best downdog which I try my best to copy 💕.

She is a real snuggle-bug and is usually around when I do my practice. She often arrives on my mat at some point, usually when I'm sitting or lying down, for one of her full-on "lean-ins" - all her weight down one side. It's gorgeous, but a little tricky if she decides to lie underneath me when I'm doing cat-cow!

She does a gorgeous down dog pose, usually when she gets out of her bed. Must try to take a photo but I might be accused of hijacking the site with posts of my dog!

absolutely adorable When I do floor exercises my little exercise buddy just brings an assortment of cuddly toys and balls and drops them on top of me

It’s lovely when our yoga buddies join us isn’t it? My Lab, Flossie, is my yoga buddy and running buddy and my cat, Biggie Smalls (don’t laugh) often observes. I love it! 🐾🐾

Biggie Smalls is a brilliant name. It reminds me of the little boy character in the second Indiana Jones movie, Short Round. It was on tv yesterday afternoon and I curled up on the sofa with my teenage daughter to watch it.

Biggie was named by my kids when he was a kitten over 10 years ago. He was so tiny, but had a huge personality. It stuck! 🐾 🐈

Ahhhh Delly, Isla’s gorgeous, how lovely to have her as your yoga buddy, maybe she’d like her own mat like Benji 😄, although my cat Freddy usually makes a beeline for mine when I’m setting up even though he has his own 😁🤗

Hi, she is so cute, they want to be involved in everything you do and love snuggles. started Yoga with Adriene a couple of days ago. My labrador has given up trying to lie on me or on the lap top and and has settled for lying next to me.

Ah, that’s lovely - a nice warm buddy alongside you for company. You’ll love Adriene’s yoga. I’ve been following her for a year now, using her monthly yoga calendar, but this is the first time I have done it every day for a month - I like it! 🧘🏼‍♀️ 😊
