Even my inner ego, Enid, was happy when we found these simple warm up stretch exercises that she could do before starting gardening to mobilise the muscles and help prevent injury.

The more I can introduce exercises into everyday activity the more motivated I am feeling. Happy flexingπŸ’ƒ

That’s a fab little painting, loving the flowers surrounding Enid. Thanks for the link, another one to check out πŸ‘πŸ˜

Thank you for your support, Wenderwoo. It's only a very gentle stretch but about my level to start with this week...after my 3 weeks of not a lot. Happy stretching...take care. πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

I probably should have done these before spending 2 days on and off trying to report a huge shrub !

Ha ha, 🌱 They fight back, don't they? But we are lucky to be able to access our gardens, aren't we? Take care. πŸŒΌπŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Good advice Nilsam, there have been a few people on HU who have injured themselves in the garden, rather than running. Yet another beautiful picture!

Thanks Dexy5. I quite like to see these age appropriate exercise videos promoted too. We may not all be in our dotage but I would like to see a few older role models promoting fitness. (60 + πŸ€”πŸ™ŠπŸ‘€)

Brilliant!πŸ‘ i used to do my aerobic workout in the garden after my runs. I stopped when I started using a step, maybe I should move it back outdoors. I do miss the fresh air/ garden.

Ooh I like the idea of using a step in the garden for leg stretches. πŸ‘£πŸŒΌTake care GoGo_JoJo.

Oooh, Nilsam, thank you for those. Love them - just what my creaky bones need! I am sure it is all my gardening, not the running, that is causing my aches and pains - with gardening it is hard to stop I time!! πŸ€£πŸ™„. Glad you are recovering and continuing to inspire us. πŸ€—πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜Ž

Thank you so much, Apatsyf. I don't feel much of an inspiration. Currently reading this whist doing slow exercise bike. 🀣 Looking forward to getting out there...loosening up very creaking limbs. Take care. πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ˜Ž
