A new week

A new week tomorrow and feeling abit more energetic. Its been a long time since I've felt like that. Small run and miby a small gym session tomorrow. Fingers crossed I'll be OK. Main objective is to get diet back on track. Somthing just not sitting right. Take being sick out of it, I just don't feel as good. So back to basics where I was feeling better about myself.

I’m sure the sick and feelings are more than a little related... and it’ll be interesting to see your “small gym session” too as all things are relative. As for the diet, well, a little break from that isn’t a bad thing. It’ll all come together again for you. Have a great day.

5k tonight done. Can't upload pic tho. 25min 51 secs. Not bad for being sick. Only problem is it's took all of the little energy I had. No gym workout tonight. 😭

On the plus side I was getting changed and the wife said you can really see your back muscles now. 💪😊😍. I knew I married her for a reason

Bloody impressive comeback run! That gym can wait for you. Wife wants to be careful... such talk may lead to more mouths to feed 🤣. Great job mate.

Why am I not shocked that you didn’t get a rest day? 🤣

I’m thinking that’s up there with my recent visit to the gym to break my treadmill phobia, that lady on the next one wasn’t gonna see me quit, and she was gonna hit stop before I did... I’m just fortunate she wasn’t a marathon runner 🤣🤣

Great job and of course bonus kudos for showing somebody the ropes... now you gotta make sure she’s on the road to fitness.

Honestly can't think why your shocked 🙈

I've been a few times with her. She goes to pure gym. Which I've mixed feelings about. I like some of it and prefer my own gym for the rest. I've shown her a couple workouts but just haven't got around to this one or the rack pulls. I actually would message her a wee quick workout each day and she let's me know how she gets on. Sometimes her partner would do it too. She started 6 weeks ago at 11 stone 3 and now done to 10.1 with just doing a bit more and cleaning up her diet.

That’s good progress.

I looked at pure gym... the ability to go workout at 2am did appeal, but I preferred where I ended up joining in the end.

Kicking back to basics, is always good and can often sort out what ails us! Hope all goes well today..

Hello! Thought it was about time I said hi to you 😊😊😊

This rings a bell for me, I've been getting a lot of queasiness lately, and I've been thinking about looking at my diet a bit more closely. I suspect that I just can't eat as much as I used to even a year ago, so I'm thinking about cutting my portions down a bit. And less coffee will probably help too, dammit...

I cut my coffee a few years ago, rarely drink it now, and never in the house.

Of course I developed a little tea habit just about the same time 🤣

So is black coffee bad for you

UnfitNoMore profile image
UnfitNoMore in reply toJohnnylewis

I’d struggle to see how... it’s water and coffee... if black coffee is “bad for us” then so is white coffee.

Coffee can give me heartburn when I'm running, so I've taken to avoiding it til afterwards. As Neil said, I don't think there's any difference health-wise, but black is the only way to drink it as far as I'm concerned 😊

I cut out caffeinated coffee years ago to "prove" to the OH it wouldn't make any difference...🙈 3 weeks later I had to eat a large portion of humble pie when I was far less stressed, nervy and less prone to irritation... I only have a very occasional decaf now, a couple of teas a day but decaf after 3pm too...

Even on a weekend I can feel if I've had too many teas. Say No to drugs! 👍🏻🤣

Hey Johnny, it’s that time of year too where there can be quite a shift and adjustment caused by the time change. Take it a session at a time. I had a week off from running and it did me the world of good. I’m back to it this week but my diet needs attention, I’ve been shamefully eating eating eating!
