My Just one thing this week was going to be adding a yoga session or two in. I will be honest you, I was just not feeling the love, therefore I was struggling to motivate myself. I know from past experience I have to want to do something just a bit otherwise I just wonβt. Even when it is good for me π. The other day I remembered that I used to love a set of DVDβs I had called the 10 min solution and I used to do the beginner Pilates one. So I went on a hunt for them. Not only did I find the videos I fount there are many more now and I can get each of the series on Amazon prime for Β£1.89. So I purchased the 10 min Beginners Pilates solution and downloaded it to my phone. There are 5 ten min exercises sessions.
Today when I went to the gym I took my glasses (canβt see what they are doing on my phone screen without them) and my Bluetooth headphones. After a really good weights session I went to the stretch section and set up my phone and pressed play with my wireless headphones on and did the first of the Pilates videos for 10 mins. It was easy to follow along and just about the right amount of time after everything else I had done in the gym, I can see myself getting on with this ππͺ. The plan is to do one session every time I go to the gym rotating round all 5 sections.
They are
1) core
2) lower body basics
3) upper body basics
4) total body combo
5) long and limber stretch.
So hence the change of plan, I think this will suit me a bit more π.
Have a great weekend everyone.

It is great, in my gym they have a little upstairs quiet section with big comfy mats so I can just go up there and settle down to do the video. I am more likely to do it in the gym than at home, at home I just see all the other stuff I have to get on with, hehe at the gym I can ignore it all πππ.
Good post from you RFC, I think I can say I have had and still have to do a few excersises today.
Got out of bed this morning at 6.15, at 6.25 I did that 'perfect 3 minute plank workout with Tom Holland'on a YouTube video, had breakfast, got the bus to the park that I will be running my first parkrun a week tomorrow and ran a 5K on the exact course in 38.55, not my fastest 5K because the course is quite hilly compared to the 5K course near to where I live, I ran a 5K locally in 33.55 two weeks ago, nevertheless I am looking forward to a week tomorrow for my first parkrun.
Now having a rest at home watching Wimbledon but at 4pm today I will be doing more excersises, pushups, situps, kettleswings then have a shower and watch more tennis πΎ on TV. π
Great day you have got going on there. I tried all the different planks session today, I did 5 seconds of each one but I couldnβt do the side planks, so work will have to be done but I quite liked it.
Sounds like you are prepared for you Parkrun, remember the most important part is to have fun.
I know me, I am a stubborn little thing, if I donβt like something I can find all the excuses in the world why I canβt do something, but if I like just a little bit of it I can push myself into it π.
Iβm a great believer in a plan... but more important to me are the goals. Plans give you a path to the goal... put plans have to change here and there to keep us on the path to the goal. I believe anyone can reach any goal, if theyβre willing to admit the plan isnβt working/the best and change it when needed.
That is great, I will think of us in a class together when I do mine π. I would like to do three a week but I think in reality it might only be two, I agree it is so hard to fit it all in. Good luck. Rfc x
