Well... day started with a run... 2.5miles, 1460 feet of elevation gain. Light breakfast and lunch... then it was game on.
Obviously I was having a sharing pizza... and no, I don’t share. The results for the day were going to be bad... so best have some fries too... and a starter... and then that sorbet dessert was only 200 calories, so it had to go. Pizza came in 8 slices... and for reasons I don’t understand, I stopped at 6.
Food wins?
Nope! Just looked at my tracker... less than 200 calories over and only 1g of fat and 79g of carbs over... protein needed tomorrow, but that wasn’t far out either.
I’m renaming one of my favourite tv shows.
Healthy man Vs food.
Man wins!

I do make it at home with super thin bases... but not had a huge pan one for years... now I know what I’ve got to do to earn one I may start having it more often... then if I pick up an injury I can sulk even more I guess.
Food won today for me. 4 days off no exercise. Basically feeling sorry for myself. So final straw is having a full Easter egg and loving it. Gotta get back at somthing tomorrow
I think you more than earned that egg Johnny... and why not indulge from time to time? There’s plenty to do that isn’t going to aggravate that injury, and it will all help pass the time before you can run again.
Which plan are you on? I did startup last year and amazed myself by beating the average time for my age... of course a couple of workouts later it beat me, which took my pompous pride and put it right in its place! I’m considering writing my running plan down, cancelling it and the doing the body weight only one alongside the running.
I just started the 4 week beginner one. I put down 3-4 days. Between that and swimming along with few weights in gym hopefully I can content myself till at least I can cycle anyway.
