First routine, set by Nike run club so today was Nike Training Club day.
Workout 1: Runner Flexibility. warm up 40 second wall sit. I feared this one, and must admit that I started to come out of the sit a second or two before the beep... happy with that though.
Dynamic stretches and yoga poses followed workout time 10:56
Workout 2: Run Ready Yoga... short 7 minute routine that I do lots in the morning when I’m going to run in the afternoon.
Workout 3: 5 Minute Plank Finisher... you like planks, you’ll love this... otherwise it would be awful 😂. It also lies... workout time 6:10. Finisher is a good name for this one, it was nearly me done for the day... had lunch.
Workout 4: Tank Top Arms 20 minutes of dumbbell work with mountain climbers and modified press up low holds thrown in just in case your arms aren’t hurting enough. I’ve been doing this every other day, and although I did it yesterday, tomorrow is long run day do I got it in today.
Workout 5: Yoga Ready... various poses with high planks between most of them... downward dog on one leg not as nice as on two 😂. Workout length 17:40
Total time according to my health app 1 hour 2 minutes. Lots of flex today, with a dash of strength work, nice balance and no part of me hates me more than any other part 😂
Tomorrow could be just a run... I’m going 8k slow.
