Hello S&F’ers
I’m on Day 2 of the 30 day yoga challenge (and I’ve not forgotten about the strength bit either! 🤓) I’m currently on a strength and flex mission and I’m happy to say, although I’m not fully fit to run for fun, I’m feeling great! 🤩
What a joy I have been missing ☺️. I woke up today ready for the daily routine 😲. Mojo.....I do love you! 💓 Is this exercise addiction? 😂! If so, I like it! 😍
Don’t get me wrong folks, I’m no Jane Fonda and I’d like to have her waistline. Now, I might have chosen a younger example, but she’s the first to come to mind and if I can look like her when I get there, it would be pretty awesome! A brilliant role model! 🤩
Today, I throw in the dynamics first (exercises, that is) and I did those nice and comfortably! I can feel the slight difference in ability on the tighter hamstring side, but I notice that it’s marginal now, so something must be working. Feeling like Jane Fonda (she’s stuck in my head now! 🙄), I’m ready...ready...ready for the yoga bit! 🧘🏽♂️ 😃
Well....it was successful in the main, but my downward dog is just not very down 🐕😵! I just can’t get my feet and hands on the floor without bending the knees. To be fair, that’s not got anything to do with the recent hamstring issue. Always struggled with that one. So, I’ll bend them knees as needed for now. If I can do a downward dog without bending the knees in 30 days, I’m going to have to treat myself in some way! 💡😃!......I like that thinking...a lot! 😂
So Day 2 is “in the bag”, as we like to say on HU!
