Hi, not had surgery but have suffered with Cellulitis every six months 'ish over my entire body and have been rushed into hospital to canulate and provide intravenous antibiotics. Have to have ART (Acute Response Team) intravenously provide anti-biotics in my home for five days and then follow it with a strong course of tablet form of anti-biotics after I come off the intravenous ones. So whilst I've not had surgery etc can certainly sympathise with the cellulitis. GP/Consultants would be the best to ask for assistance.

Hi there . That sound awful .... do you suffer with CREST or another auto immune disease ? I suffer with CREST.

I have had calcinosis come out thru my thumb, and there's still some in there, but it was felt better to leave it alone. Maybe try vit C with Zinc tablets as this can help with healing.

I have had several bouts with cellulitis, and if the oral anti biotics are not helping then your friend needs to be seen right away as IV anti biotics may be in order. It is definetly not something you want to leave or 'try' treatments with, they need to be seen by their Gp or go to A&E.
