hello

I was wondering if anyone knows if it’s safe to take kalms supplement tablets with scleroderma? I take mycophenalate. I have googled and it doesn’t come up with any interactions ans I’m seeing my consultant in a few weeks but I wondered if anyone knew?

Hi. I wouldn’t risk taking any supplements without your specialist’s approval tbh. My sister and her partner were supplementing away just assuming taking vitamin D and B complex were good for them. When my sister went to her GPs for blood tests and trial of HRT she was found to have ferritin level nearly 3 times higher than range and now being tested for excess iron. She read up and worked out that I was right to tell her to stop supplementing after all. Vitamins B&C would have been increasing her iron absorption. So I would definitely check first. x
