swelling of feet knees ankles wrists new symptom

good morning all so I have started getting swelling randomly in my extremities and it feels like an injury one of my new symptoms I can only describe as hot pins being pushed in to my heels very painful and sore is this something anyone else has suffered ? It doesn’t seem to matter if I have done anything that day or not will randomly swell and cause me great discomfort

I had this last year quite bad, much worse in the evening. It was actually quite painful and very uncomfortable, mine were less swollen but hot and sharp pain, pins stabbing.

Unfortunately I never really found out the cause , it stopped happening and I never discussed it with my Doctor as I presumed it was related to Raynauds. Then by the time I saw the Rheumatologist it had stopped and I forgot to mention it.i now seem to have numbness in the end of my big toes and they get very cold.

Hi Jaq 1971 and Buttsy, I was just about to ask a question related to similar symptoms. Both my ankles feel as if the skin is being stretched, very tender and a scratchy sensation. The left ankle started first and now my right ankle feels identical. I’ve looked at PAD symptoms, osteoarthritis but this morning wondered if it related to scleroderma so checked on line and this is definitely a possibility. But both ankles at the same time seems almost too neat an answer. I have knee issues due needing replacements so this new ‘thing’ is aggravating my walking. If it is tightening of skin I am wondering if anyone has any advice please . Thank you for reading my post.
