Hi Sheena C

I’ve had problems with my nails for sometime and have a diagnosis of psoriasis of the nails , apparently very rare , lucky me , I’ve had steroid liquid twice with no results , the advice from the doctor paint them ,

It started with the ring finger little finger thumbs becoming detatched I’ve come to terms with it now and paint them to cover brown nails .

If you think yours may be this have a word with the doctor , xx

Hi,

Both my big toe nails come away on the side nearest to my other toes and are paler in colour, GP said possible fungal infection used the prescribed liquid for months and months with no improvement, so I don’t think it is that but I haven’t been back about them.Sorry ,I know some people dislike feet/toe .

I to have Raynauds and my big toes are definitely more affected by it.

I also have Raynaud's, scleroderma and arthritis in my hands. 2 of my nails on my left hand are infected. I have used Amorolfine and antibiotics. No better.

Hiya, I have CREST/Limited SSc and have issues with my nails. One is lifting from the bed from the tip end, three split repeatedly from tip end back to digit and I cant ever get them grown out. They are really ridged and always just look grubby :( I used to like my hands but now keep them in my pockets alot. I also have lumpy and painful knuckles on my left hand - just three digits though. This sure is a weird condition. I have had Raynauds since I was a child and gastric issues since my late teens so I guess I am lucky to have got to my late 50s before things really kicked off. Have you tried extra rich hand cream and cotton gloves at night - supposed to be good for hands/nails?
