Finger Nail Changes: Can anybody tell... - Scleroderma & Ray...
Finger Nail Changes
I haven't seen that sort of thing with limited scleroderma, but when I was first diagnosed with secondary raynaulds, each of the fingernails got a few black spelk like lines down them and then the nails gradually lifted off, one by one as the nail beds swelled up. The new nails look normal most of the time now, apart from blanching when I extend my fingers. Good luck with getting your diagnosis sorted. X
My fingers are almost exactly the same as yours in colour and in ridged surfaces. But, maybe yet to come...my nails split down the ridge paths and beyond the quick which is painful...so I have to cut my nails right down so they don't catch on anything. I have Systemic Sclerosis. I ,too, get muscle pain which seems to travel around my body on different days or weeks. Hope you get some diagnosis soon.
Mine are exactly the same but mine are nearly always blue with white in middle like yours.
My nails are identical to yours but I never considered it an issue. I have primary Raynauds

I never thought my nails looked different from others' nails but mine are just like yours! have Primary Raynaulds. My nails are very strong and I am not concerned about them.
My nails are the same. I have just been diagnosed with Primary Reynaud's. I just thought it was normal.
