Hi, I have had Raynaud's since childhood and am now in 50s. Recently had some form of vasculitis (negative ANCA antibodies) and now my Raynaud's is very different. More easily triggered, less of the hot redness after; just goes white to blue alone. Sometimes I dont even know it has happened, I just look down and my forehand is white, then later cyanotic. The main issue, however, is excruciatingly tender blood vessels on the palmar surface of my fingers. They feel hard. Has this happened to anyone else please? I am ANA+ve but nothing else found, although not had specific test for SSc etc. Rheumy seems dead set on picking on the fact that I already had (low grade) psoriatic arthritis so does not look to be investigating my hand issue.
Should I see a vascular person privately? Should I have the vessels scanned? They are really affecting activities
TIA 🙂

I always take the view that if your rheumatologist (or dr) isn’t investigating or offering up a diagnosis or treatment plan, then find someone who will. They’re not listening to your concerns. Or perhaps are not hearing your concerns loudly enough. I hope you find some answers.
I have been using castor oil at first I put on only at night with gloves now I use it all the time I massage it well into my hands and feet and it seems to be helpful no more ulcers on my fingers or less infections
