Hi everyone, has anyone ever tried nitro cream for Raynaud's on hands? My Dr just prescribed it for dilating blood vessels to the finger that get ulcers frequently. I am afraid to try it. I am waiting until it heals first. Does anyone have experience with this Nitro cream?

Nitro cream use for Raynaud's?
I tried it a couple years ago. I got the worst headaches and dizziness and having it on my fingers made it hard to do things. I did use it down at the base of the finger because i also had ulcers. I have had much better luck with Nifedipine at max doses and sildenafil. Give it a try but the side affects were too much for me
Yes! It helps get more circulation to help heal ulcers you already have. It gives me headaches but it’s worth it to get those ulcers gone that lady for months sometimes
Don’t be afraid to try it! I was too but have spoken to a few doctors about it and it just open up capillaries and makes blood flood easier.... it’s intimidating but it works. I haven’t gotten any headaches or anything like that
Thank you Daisy. I am still afraid to try it. My finger is so infected that I don't know what to do. I worry that I will have a negative side effect.
I use nitro patches when I have ulcers. No side effects but I did start with a lower dose to see if I reacted.
