Stuck without diagnosis

Hello everyone. At first I'd like to thank You all for sharing Your stories and experience, it is very helpful. I decided to post here, because maybe You'll have some advice.

Ever since 4 years ago, when I went through EBV (mononucleosis) I started having various symptoms. Amongst others - I get back pain, to the point its burning sometimes, and swollen figers. Sometimes they hurt, sometimes they become lighter in colour and stiff. My hands' skin also goes shiny and stiff. I get crappy blood circulation in my hands. I get hardened, painful spots sometimes, but they heal over a week or so. My hands dont react to cold, they react to stress only, that's why I'm wondering wheter its Reunauds or not.

I know trying to get health tips online is a silly thing to do, but so far I've seen a few rheumatologists here in Poland and no diagnosis. I only heard, that scleroderma is progressive and it shouldn't come and go. My ANAs are negative, capillaroscopy is ok, everything seems to be fine, yet I get stiff, shiny fingers and my fingertips hurt. Is it possible i get collagen overproduction for any other reason than the illness? Also how do You manage puffy fingers, what seems to help?

picture of how they usually look like. I wonder if there is any other explenation for this. I also lost hair on my legs and my skin changed to this.

Best wishes

Raynauds can be stress or anxiety triggered as well as from cold or temperature changes.

You may have a immune disease but I hope not.

Do you have reflux?

Usually reflux and Raynauds are initial symptoms of Scleroderma but also of other illnesses.

I’ve never had shiny fingers but have had puffy fingers.

I’d see your rheumatologist regularly for check ups x

Best wishes x

Thank You for Your reply :) I occasionaly have reflux, it doesn't really bother me. But I often have puffy fingers. If its Raynauds it doesn't respond to cold at all, only anxiety. The only thing that I can't explain is shiny, stiff skin, that comes and goes, and its really distracting.
