Got 3 stinging fingers on my right hand. The middle one being the most troublesome! It has scab from.an old ulcer, this finger tip seems to collect fluid like a cyst. The flesh is so inflammed, and it is pushing back my nail. I am in excruciating pain as they are all so sore..just wish to know if someone has been through similar experience and they can advice me please.

Thank you,

Have a great day all x.

Go to docs because when I was in a lot of pain with one fingertip it was infected and full of puss . Royal free nurse I had to ring someone as No one had seen scleroderma . Said antibiotics but for 2 weeks at 500 ml . Later had to have puss removed . Ulcer took 8 weeks to heal . Keep dry wipe hand with a cloth it may need a dressing on and changed by nurse every other day . But when I had puss the pain was dreadful

I got a gangrenous ulcer and the only thing that helped was inpatient iloprost. It might be worth asking your rheumatologist as anyone with ulcers should be treated with iloprost.
