Foot problem HElp!!!

Hi guys so I have a crazy issue I can not lay down on the bed to go to sleep my foot starts burning from the bottom with pain going up to my leg. I have had to sleep up with my leg down because of this my both feet and ankles. Have swelled up so bad. Waiting on the nhs for vascular but it’s a month away and I’m in severe pain so luckily I have private health care and they have no idea what’s going on think it maybe nerve problem

Going for mri scan vascular and verve test this week

Anyone else experience anything like this ????

I had the same problem! It was horrible! I went to the doctor and got Gabopentin and that helped a lot. The doctor thought it was a pinched nerve, but it didn’t get better. I went to a neurologist eventually and he found nothing really wrong. I finally tried acupuncture and that made it go away completely after just a few visits!

I have this too but it does not sound as severe as yours. It’s horrible!

I do have a neuroma in my foot, near the toes on the leg effected, which makes me think it’s nerve related.

Just an update, so went to royal free and managed to get a nerve conduction test privately, the results showed that I have tarsal tunnel luckily I have no nerve damage but a trapped nerve. My rheumatology team have no idea why both feet are so swelled up but as a precaution they have put me on a course of predisolone for 3 weeks and also mycrophelpnlate. This is the first time they have seen anything like this.

Please guys push the doctors to do more tests on you I have had this on and off for a couple of years and not pushed doctors, so it has become so severe and the pain is unreal. It’s really hard to diagnose and rare. Moving forward to treat this I can have steroid injections to the damaged nerve will keep u posted xxxx
