Is it possible my wife has Raynaud's disease?

My wife has had asthma since 12 and had her Thyroid removed because of cancer. She also has diabetes. She displays symptoms of Raynaud's disease limited to cold limbs during winter and frequent sinus infections during winter as well as dizziness upon standing. She has frequently gotten pneumonia in the winter. Just would like to know.

Needed to explore possibilities. Seeing correlation between other posts and my own post I am concerned. I relate to "enquiring minds want to know." Also want to be helpful to others who have the same experiences.

Both the Thyroid issues and diabetes will both give those issues! and Asthma adds to it

Raynauds and diabetes symptoms overlap "alot" as both circulation and thyroid issues will make you cold/hot etc.

Has she had her Thyroxine levels checked of late? as take it she's on that or similar?

Need to bring up with Quack as quite important with Diabetes in there or end up with bits chopped off!

Put Ginger and Cayenne pepper in your food regulary as that warms blood up.

Hi perle, I think she should be diagnosed by a doctor as soon as possible. Raynaud's is very dangerous as well as confusing. If she does have it, avoiding caffeine is important. Stay warm, use handwarmers, take Niacin, the one that gives a warm flush. Try not to drink alcohol or take antihistamine because they worsen the symptoms. Take good care of her.
