Hello everybody, I hope you are keeping as well as you can, especially now that the mornings are really chilly and the weather is turning Autumnally. Having said that, it does mean we have some lovely sunsets!! Well my granddaughter went back to school on Tuesday, having spent Monday with her, her helping me at the village community library and going for a wonderful walk in the afternoon. I had an appt with the occupational therapist on Wednesday, to be fitted with a splint to support my little finger on my left hand, it has proved very interesting, this is the 3rd splint that she has made for me, its all experimental at the moment, because of the scleroderma and raynauds. Yesterday was a visit to Leeds hospital for my check up, resulting in blood tests and arrangements for ct scan and injection for my shoulder pain. So yes here I am again, back to reality, but also knowing I am being well looked after. The day finished with my granddaughter coming for tea and having our second session of Monopoly, and catching up on how her first few days have gone at school, she is such a joy. My week has finished with being taken out to lunch by my friend for a belated birthday lunch and a good laugh, I have to admit I chose a desert that was absolutely calorific, well you have to, dont you? It looks like there is going to be another lovely sunset tonight, all the more lovely because of the clouds, so take the time to take in the view, and know that we are all connected through it, it takes my mind of my aches and pains, which because of the cooler weather are ever present. Take care everybody, and smile and wave folks, smile and wave, xxxx

Hello honeybug, thank you for your lovely reply, its amazing to think that although pain is present most of the time, spending time with my granddaughter, doing childish things, laughing and chatting is a great pain blocker, and yes memories of this summer will certainly keep me going, plus the medication of course haha. Take care xxx

So lovely to hear from you and yes the endorphins we get from a joyful experience is the best kind of medicine and it also heals our hearts at the same time too.

Best wishes and take care.
