This thing called systemic sclerosis!

Hi everybody, just logged on to the sruk site, and read all the posts. It truly is amazing that most of the posts mention lots of the irritating things that i am experiencing, for eg, feeling tired! pain in joints! itchy skin! etc etc!! Isn"t this condition amazing!! keeps throwing these odd symptoms at us, almost daring us to give up!!! Well let me tell you that as bad as I feel sometimes, as tired as I feel sometimes, I am dammed if I am giving in, dont get me wrong, it is very hard at times, and I mean really hard and I come pretty close to letting it overpower me, but, somehow i find the strength to carry on.

Just to add more frustration I fell over on Saturday, I caught my big toe in the bottom of my pj bottoms and down I went like a tree being felled!! Had a glass of water in my hand, thankfully as I fell I let it go, so down i went, grazed nose and left knee and a sore right wrist! and 24 hours later my left side of body felt like I had fallen over, ha ha, but guess what whilst I was laying on floor all I could think of was, oh s... I shall have to mop the water up!! It also made me realise that because I live on my own I had to cope on my own. Anyway, feeling better today, and hopefully better tomorrow, so I shall leave off now, with smile and wave folks, smile and wave.

Thanks for making me smile😂. Tonight I was out at a church meeting and I had my 2nd ever panic attack in the middle of the sermon which seemed to be going on and on. Gosh I felt ill. So now I have depression and anxiety to add to my list. You take care xx

I have a acute anxiety of driving on the big highways. I will not drive on them. It started when I was about 40 and have a panic attack going over abridge. It doesn't matter who is driving!

Ouch! You are very spirited! Hope your body is recovered very soon.

Yes, it is immensely tormenting this thing....remembering how easy life was before when l had a robust body!
