If you look online you will find hundreds of these kind of articles from people who claim doctors are keeping patients in the dark just to rake in millions from medication. Adverts pop up all the time about all kinds of illnesses and the wording is always the same. They say "doctors don't want you to know this little tip."

Think about doctors like Professor Denton who are spending their life researching auto immune illnesses. I wasn't on any kind of medication when I got Scleroderma so my illness was not triggered by medication which is another claim of these people.

By next year I may be off Mycophenolate completely. I know others have far worse problems than me but I think it is not wise to be sucked in by these claims.

Many GPs don't know much or anything about auto immune illnesses and that is a problem I know about from experience. The answer is more training for doctors.

From my own research when I got ill I discovered that it is not fully known how we get auto immune illnesses, there are so many reasons. I also learned that as it is an illness that can come spontaneously it can also leave the body in the same way.

I haven't seen these videos but there is one sentence which would stop me watching as I have seen these kind of videos before.

""It’s simple, inexpensive and extremely logical."" At the end of the series you will most likely have a sales pitch.

I have been to see Professor Denton at the Royal Free and I trust him to the utmost.

Irene, I agree with you that GP know very little about autoimmune deseses, and they need better training. You are very lucky that you have found the doctor who you trust, we haven’t been very lucky so we had to educate ourselves when our daughter was diagnosed with SS. Luckily for her my husband is a doctor by education so it was easier for us to go through medical books, lectures and videos and to see what is right and what is not so. Pitty you didn’t have time to see the film - so far I’ve watched 2 episodes for free may be they will ask for donation later - I m not sure. “These” people do not say that Scleroderma is triggered by medication, so far I haven’t particularly find anything new as we have been researching for the last 2 years but seeing success stories is very encouraging, that is why I engoyed it very much. Wishing you and all good health. Svetlana

It was nice that you posted this but yes I’m very skeptical

Actually this series is on Utube. And they want you to buy the series. “Doctor” Zach Bush doesn’t seem to have much credibility. Look at his credentials and videos. 🙄

He’s like a Tony Robbins type in my opinion

There is the sales pitch!

There is no obligation to spend any money. They have a variety of experts giving lifestyle and dietary advice which can really help people with autoimmune disease. I have witnessed it in my own child who has an autoimmune disease. I said in the original post it was for anyone who is interested. If you are not interested that’s fine. It’s a shame though, you may have picked up some useful information. I have watched the first two videos already and I can’t wait to see the rest - and I haven’t paid a penny!
