I have relative who was presribed Thyroid meds in Uk and then moved to Australia and stopped taking them. Now developed Raynaud's with digital finger tip ulcers

Please know that UK Thyroid blood test results and reference ranges are very questionable. Ignore being told that your TSH is 'within range' Really useful reading to know is T3 ( Tests can be done fairly cheaply privately - check out Thyroid Uk web site
Why not take these links to your GP and ask for a therapeutic trial dose of T4 (Levothyroxine) which is very safe and monitor your response?

Digital (Finger) Ulcer from Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (MCTD). This digital ulcer is 14 weeks old. It was caused by secondary Raynaud's phenomenon, in a patient with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (MCTD). The MCTD was diagnosed 5 years ago, after thyroid gland removal.
