I recently saw gastroenterologist for results of capsule endoscopy, it showed I have a condition named as G.A.V.E which is bleeding points in stomach, apparently yet another symptom of scleroderma. Am now awaiting a gastroscopy with laser treatment to zap these bleeding points. Has anyone else had this? Consultant thinks my anaemia may be result of this bleeding.

G.A.V.E.
Yes I have had this, but mine were lasered at the time of the gastroscopy. Helped with the anaemia problem a bit. I recently had a colonoscopy, which showed them as well, so they are probably all through me. Best of luck
I have had the treatment for this condition. I didn't know it could be related to Scleroderma. The consultant told me my liver function would need to be checked and I have spent the last year having various tests which are all inconclusive. I have had Raynaud's for 20 years and I wonder if I should be tested for Scleroderma? What symptoms should I look out for? The treatment for GAVE went well but I am still struggling with iron levels and am on a liquid supplement and being tested every 3 months. Hope your treatment goes well ☺
