I applied to EON for the warm home discount as i am on disability.they refused me even though i was entitled then they used the information on the form i sent to take money out of my benefits to pay an arrears for my gas and electric. i thought they could not do that and now i am worse off than ever .

That's absolutely outrageous, surely they can't do that. I would certainly get some advice. Good Luck.

This certainly doesn't sound right. Contact EON in the first instance to voice your concerns.

If you are still unsatisfied call the Regulatory body that controls the Power Companies. You should definitely contact the Citizens Advice.

Contacting and informing the Ombudsman is also a consideration that is open to you.
