does anyone get the feeling in their hands that their bones are being crushed ontop of each other?
crushing pain: does anyone get the... - Scleroderma & Ray...
crushing pain
I don't have a crushing pain, what I have is I can feel every single bone in my feet. I looked up a skeletal model of all the bones, and can identify them all in my feet. Before Raynaud's my feet were just feet. Now I can also move all toes independently of one another which I could not do before.
hmm thats wierd!!! no offense!!
None taken littlemissshy. I did however forget to mention they do swell a lot and then my toes squash into one another and become a huge blob on the end of my feet (that's another story) "giggles".
uggghh my feet, my toe next to the big one looks broken on both feet and they are never a normal colour, i do ballet and the shoes squish my feet, i cant wear hardly any shoes anymore it hurts my feet that much....
Move all your toes independently? like fingers?
Yes littlemissshy...... I have experienced the same sensation you describe........this usually happens to me first thing in the morning...... when I wake up my hands feel thick, stiff and swollen....my joints ache and as I try to loosen the stiffness the bones.....my bones feel as though they are grating together......I have recently noticed that my hands are more swollen in the mornings and I am unsure of the reasons why this happens...........
mmm, i have it throughout the day, and you know a vice...like in a workshop, it feels like my hand has been put in one of those and tightened....its VERY painful....my hands swell, although only after excercise....or being in a warm place for too long....
Sadly in Raynaud's and scleroderma we lose the fatty padding from underneath the feet which gives the feeling of walking on marbles. Even the slightest bump on a floor can be excruciatingly helpful. People find it strange to hear one say that the feet are numb yet they are also painful! But yes it works like that!
Crushing pain. My daughter (age 38) just told me today that she has been to several doctors and the cannot figure out why she has a crushing pain in her hands. It is like a vice-grip squeezing her bones. It is very painful and frequent, even at night. She found raising her arms over her head lessens the pain somewhat. Did you find out the reason for your similar problem?
I was just going to ask same question my hands feel like they are being crushed jobs around the house are getting harder to do as my hands are so painful
