Since I lost my wife four months ago I have not been able to sleep should I change my mattress

Really sorry to hear your news. I would do whatever your heart tells you to do and if that means changing the mattress then you should do it. Kind regards

If you think this will help you,buy a new mattress. Have you tried a milky drink at bedtime

You are grieving maybe even a little depressed due to the sad loss of your wife and that can affect your sleep!!

If your mattress is old and lumpy get a new one if necessary but you've just lost your wife . My best wishes
