I find it incredibly frustrating when discussing my own or anyone else's sleep problems that "why" is often left out off consideration and also the seeming lack of interest in the professional services offered by sleep clinics in the UK. I have had great service by the sleep clinics at Queen's Square and in Lincolnshire and yet medical intervention appears often to be low on people's go to list. When you consider how important sleep is for the working of the whole body, we owe it to ourselves to seek the best of treatment.

That's a really good point about medical intervention. I suffered for about 20 years before finally going to a sleep doctor and getting diagnosed with sleep apnea. Wish I'd done that earlier.
