- Try all the sleep hygiene methods first

- definitely never look at clocks if you can’t get to sleep

- mindfulness meditations in bed

- get up if you are tossing a turning but keep lights on low and don’t do anything stimulating

- try to go to bed and get up at same time everyday

- read “why we sleep” to give you a good reason to get your sleep back on track
