Rubraca——Parp

My C125 started going up in the last 4 months my oncologist put me on Rubraca

Wondering if anyone is using this parp or another which has helped them. July will be

5 years on Chemo. Any information is appreciated sister

Hi Millie,

I don't have your situation, but I have heard of Rubraca. In fact, I'm scheduled to enter a trial next month which includes Rubraca as one of the meds. Since no one has responded, I wanted to make you aware of another message board that has been helpful to me and which may include other women with your specific needs. After debulking surgery, and two other chemo regiments (Paxlitaxol/CarboPlatin and Doxil) I was taking Rubraca for about 3 months last Fall. Then my numbers went up again so my regular oncologist took me off of Rubraca and put me on GemZar which brought my numbers down to below 30 for a couple of months while taking 6,000 mg. Lipo-C with Vitamin K3 from my integrative oncologist. Finally after about 3 more months, my numbers started increasing again...now up to 188.

NOW I am off chemo completely (refused Abraxane which most certainly leads to hair loss and neuropathy) and am doing a regiment with the Lipo-C, Vitamin K3, apigenin, sulindac and lapachone taken 3 times a day. I am reading the book "Chris Beats Cancer". Everyone with cancer should read this book!

I’m in a clinical trial (Athena) and taking rucaparib 600mg twice a day, plus IV nivolumab once a month. CT last week was NED and most recent CA125 was 19. Been in trial 5 months. It’s a 25-month trial. Side effects: mild nausea a few times a week, fatigue, odd sense of taste, peripheral neuropathy. To be fair neuropathy started during chemo.
