Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last year October I also had ascites and it refilled a month after surgery. I am due to start chemo in a few days. I am really hoping the ascites clears with chemo

I have been doing weekly draining since November 2018. The last two were at 2 week intervals. I report tomorrow for an ultrasound but I can tell I can skip this week. My last ca125 was down to 294. For me lower numbers mean less cancer, ascites and pain. Good luck.

My ascites disappeared after chemo and hasn't returned. On my second round of chemo following reoccurrence but it's been gone for two years. Used to have weekly draining

Nya, I'm 3C. My ascites was drained before primary chemo and has never come back, even with recent recurrence. I am in remission again. Been fighting this since Nov, 2015.

I’ve had 2 drainings 6 weeks apart on round 2 of my 3rd go of 3C. Remission 2x. Maintenance meds stop working after 8-12 months. Still hopeful they will find one that will keep working. Best wishes 💞
