Hi. This is my first time posting in this forum. Originally I had a post about some uterine bleeding. I was given helpful advice from the community. Now I have a new and scarier issue.
I was having the bleeding that got worse, so I went to the ER. They did an ultrasound which found multiple cysts in my ovary, and my ovary was 7cm enlarged! They did not specify what the cysts were. I followed up with my gyno and she explained to me that an enlarged ovary can be a sign of something sinister. She did blood work and I am to have a repeat ultrasound in 2 weeks. She also mentioned I could be looking at surgery.
I am frankly scared to death. If this does turn out to be cancer, I don’t know how mentally I can deal with that. We have no cancer in our family history at all. I would be the first. All I can think of are the women I’ve known in my past who have had OC and died horrible deaths. For those of you who’ve already been given the diagnosis, please help me to know how to recieve the news and how you go on from it! I have a disabled son who relies on me, and my heart is breaking thinking of the what if’s!
Thank you sincerely.

Don't worry too much now take care of the situation as soon as possible doesn't mean you have cancer either your blood work will tell you. If you do have cancer look up! GOD will guide you! I had stage 3 , got chemo for 6 months and done very well! Did not get sick ...lost some hair not alot! Told my doctors I do not except I have it! Stay positive and stay away from negative people! Went to dark chocolate....cancer feeds on sugar. ..everything gets filtered through your liver....stay active. ....went back to work full time...I do inhome care ,took my mind off things....just say no to cancer your son needs you....things have a way of working out....stay positive! I will stand with you hugs and prayers
Hi Lizchips did you need to go through treatment or did they just remove the mass? I am going into Hospital this Monday to have a full hysterectomy and both ovaries removed! Doctors found a mass the size of a melon on my right ovary but I am wondering if it is cancer and if it is confined to the mass do they need to put you through treatment? My CA125 levels were 957 at last reading but Doctor said this could very likely be endeometreosis! Quite anxious but time will tell I suppose!
