Hi- you need to make a list of codes or phrases you do not know- then post so we can answer. At the moment we don’t know which codes you know or are common to all etc.
Best wishes
Fay in the UK
Will try to do that soon .
A few things piled on me yesterday. Just had start of 5th chemo session. Knocking me a little more than usual. Plus had to take my daughter to clinic and then ER yesterday. She is going to need her gall bladder removed. I am exhausted from the sitting around waiting to hear she will be scheduling next week.
Thanks for responding!
A few more:
NED - some say you are “dancing with NED” meaning you have No Evidence of Disease. It is often used interchangeably with the term remission.
Dx - diagnosed
OvCa - ovarian cancer
Tx - treatment
OCRFA - Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance
NOCC - National Ovarian Cancer Coalition
Here is a site that can help with some of the common terms: ovariancancer.jhmi.edu/glos...
Try this link for a glossary of terms. For some reason the other link isn’t working. ocrfa.org/patients/resource...
And one more link: inspire.com/groups/Ovarian-...
Thank you for all your responses. It definitely helps to have the ones posted as well as to know of some direct sources to look up these codes and abbreviations. My foggy brain doesn't seem to retain this info so this really helps a lot!
