Hi there, my mum's nurse said that one of the anti sickness medicines, whilst being very good, is the main culprit for her severe constipation. It got so bad that she didn't take the full dose of it! I believe it's called Ondansetron or something like that. Hopefully the new medicine that your doctor prescribed will do the trick. I'm sorry to hear you're having such a tough time.

please call or make an apt. with someone in GI. dept. to help you manage the constipation. you do not want a her to get her bowl impacted (happened to my mother). also that med will can be a lifestyle changes.

I take a probiotic called BioT. It's helpful and I use Sinekot when needed or Mira Lax. Hope you have talked to your doctor about your problem. Sounds like it need medical attention. Hoping all gets better for you.

I had constipation from Tax carbo chemo. I used the tea, Smooth Move by traditional Medicinals and it worked.

Hi Belsie-

I also have suffered from horrible constipation to the point where it consumes my life daily. My internist says I have cronic idopathic constipation. She gave me samples of Linzess also. It works like a charm but you cannot be too far from a bathroom. the big problem is that my insurance company will not cover it. I went online and can download a coupon from the manufacturers that will give you a 90 day supple for $30.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Carol. Did you get fluid leaking from your anus from constpation. Linzess also made my stomach cramp and I had a lot of gas . Now my doctor wants me to try Trulance. Do you know anybody taking this. I just can't stand the stomach cramping from the Linzess. Thanks again for replying. Have a great day.

there is a med for the cramping...tou put in under your I can't remember the name of it but if you describe it that way I'm sure your doctor would be able to figure it out
