Post menopause bleeding

Hi I am new here. I have been bleeding for 6 days from my vagina. I am going for an ultrasound tomorrow. I am really scared. I have been on HRT for ten years, have bloating and some pain in back and tummy. Could it possibly be cysts or fibroids? I am 59.

Try not to panic before you know anything. Wait for the Dr to suggest things to you but do come here if you need any further help.

Thank you ladies for your comments. ! had an ultrasound which revealed breakthrough bleeding from a thin endometrial lining. Going to a gynecologist for a further test but at this stage not looking sinister. I have been on HRT for ten years, went back on due to extreme hot flushes and restless nights. Been advised never to take it again. Already I am burning up! Hard being a woman. Any suggestions on coping would be great. Thank you! 😃

Glad to hear your doc thinks it's okay! What did the gynecologist say? Yes, probably best to be off HRT...
