Sounds promising and would great. Would keep a lot of us alive. Not sure it would be a cure unless it killed all the cells in our blood as well. That would truly be great.

Someone posted the below over on Inspire.. It's a response she received from one of the professors who did the initial research that was then licensed to Bayer. Maybe we should bombard the Bayer contact he mentions with pleas for trials to be fast tracked!

"The timing of the clinical trial is entirely up to the pharmaceutical company Bayer, which has licensed ErSO. It does not seem likely to start in the next few months. Because the clinical trial has not yet been organized, there is no proposed location and, to my knowledge, it is not currently possible for you to sign up for the clinical trial of ErSO.

I regret that I do not have more information to give you. There is no specific Bayer contact person for the clinical trial. Rose Talarico, E-Mail: [e-mail] is a potential contact person at Bayer. The time required for cancer drugs, such as ErSO to go from the start of a clinical trial to full FDA approval depends on how well they work, side effects and the scale of the studies. For other anticancer drugs, it has been anywhere from just over 2 years to a decade. I know from personal experience how difficult and stressful each of your situations is and what this timeline means for many of you.

Our work is not funded by Bayer and is completely independent. What we can do by the work of our team is to demonstrate the remarkable effectiveness of ErSO and advance our knowledge of how it works. By the powerful work described in our paper in Science Translational Medicine we can encourage Bayer to move as rapidly as possible to starting a clinical trial."

Hi Pbsoup! I reached out to the Professor and got the same form letter response as you mentioned so reached out to The Bayer contact. I talked to my Onc about the ErSO trials at this months visit, showing him the article from UI publication and he was very intrigued. I encourage everyone to reach out to Bayer. There are a LOT of us on this site that may help in speeding this up.

Greetings : Sister/warrior Thank you so much for this very promising breast cancer treatment that responded to the trials in mice. Wow in 3 days to a week this drug completely targets, and destroys the tumors, without damaging healthy cells. We will have to wait for the human trials, which I hope/pray will be fast tracked ASAP, and that it will be the drug to eradicate this disease that is taking so many lives.😇 Have a great day sister/warrior/advocate 👍😀
