FDA approved IceCure medical device! Quite a few studies on Cryoablation. Very promising.

We're getting there! I also read multiple studies where Cryoablation seems promising for stage 4, metastatic tumors. Currently the FDA approved this Israeli IceCure device in benign breast tumors. Very, very promising.

Sounds good but like any new treatments it takes so long to become available

I think I read in a different report that 2021 new devices will be commercially available. I'm going to keep track of the studies on Cryoablation and share here when (not if 🙂) updates are available.

Hi Anja,

Thanks for sharing this article. I have looked into cryoablation, but was told I couldn't have it. This article also points out that the FDA in America is only licensed to use cryoablation on benign tumours, rather than cancerous tumours. But I am not sure if it could be an option in future in treating metastases as well as primary breast tumours.

Good morning Sophie❤️

The way I read this article is that at the current moment IceCure is approved for benign breast tumors and many other malignant tumors, with high success (based on high success rate of clinical trials performed in Israel). Yes, Cryoablation is not new, but their device is different and they're working on a newer version with higher capabilities commercially available in 2021. There are studies in medical journals and Pubmed where Cryoablation is also being used for Mets. I will post one of those studies in the comments here. Need to scroll down for the application in Mets.❤️

Hi Anja,

That does sound interesting! I am interested in the study on metastases, as that is obviously something that affects us all on here. I will have a look!

Thanks,

Sophie

I agree! I'll also keep track of these studies and if there's an update of course I'll post here. ❤️

A friend of mines husband had a cancerous timer on his liver over 10 years ago and the did Cryoablation on it he has been good since. It was done in Erie Pennsylvania. I wonder why if it can be done on a cancerous tumor on liver why it wouldn't work on tumors from breast cancer?? I know when my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer freezing was an option but side affects where bad. So he opted for removal. I'm not sure of all the details any more I would have to go back and research again what the reasoning was for side affects.

Sophie, here is one study.

Not yet fully applicable for all Mets, but we're getting closer I believe :)

This is great stuff - I think if they can use "ice therapy" at the med spas in Scottsdale for belly fat... they can certainly use it for us for goodness sakes.

Ive read a lot about cryoablation and wondered why it wasnt used more. Of course, how stupid of me... it could reduce the profits of many a drug company!!

Im really pleased you shared this. Another example of how a simple concept (freezing) can kill cancer. Well done to the Israeli firm. Id have my liver and lung mets zapped with this if it were available!

Thanks for sharing. I've not heard of this before but it's very interesting, it's another "something" we can ask about in due course - hopefully "due course" is a long way off for all of us :). Best wishes. Josie

I know Josie! We've been continuously disappointed with false hopes. Let's hope this "something" as you say, proves truly a way to treat us, but in the near future.

Sister/Warrior: God bless you.Thank you so much for this information on Cryoablation. I remember hearing about this research a few years ago, and I wondered why there was no known follow up information. The traditional chemo, and radiation industries/monopolies would lose billions of dollars. There are several weight loss treatment facilities that remove excess fat from the body by freezing the fat. This procedure is currently being tweaked , and improved to target, and kill cancer cells. Cryoablation procedures would be less invasive, and less expensive to treat patients. It also would not have the radiation side effects for those diagnosed with cancer, and those diagnosed with recurrences, especially in the areas that were previously treated with radiation. I am sure there are many of our sisters, and yes brothers/warriors on this site that would love to be included in this newest trial. For newly diagnosed, and recurrently diagnosed sisters/brothers/warriors, 2021 can't get here quick enough. We need to lobby to have this procedure available ASAP. God bless you. I pray Cryoablation will be available, and if not by the medical/pharmaceutical conglomerates, then publicly available by Intergrative, Homeopathic, Naturapathic Drs. I am praying for more research into natural modalities from yes God's green earth.
